Return of the Snow Geese

In late winter, something extraordinary happens in Pennsylvania.

At Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area, hundreds of thousands of Snow Geese gather as they continue their long migration north. The sky fills with wings, the air with sound, and the quiet lake becomes the center of a living storm.
In this video, I spend time watching and filming one of nature’s great migrations as waves of snow geese rise, circle, and return to the water while bald eagles watch from above.
Moments like this remind us that the wild world is still moving, still ancient, and still very much alive
