As winter ends and we head into the spring season I look forward to the upcoming art shows. But first, it is the time of the year that I review, edit and upload photos I have shot during 2018. Over the next few weeks I will preview these new images here and load them onto my website. Enjoy today's installment. (Also my new cover photo for my Website!) Traveling Symphony of Color My latest photograph from this past Autumn, "Traveling Symphony of Color". This cool little bridge resides in Media, Pennsylvania and spans the Chester Creek. I love the way the vivid colors of the fall foliage sandwich this unique bridge. The mid-day, cloud covered, sky provided the perfect amount of diffused lighting to help bring out all the right highlights.
Side note: I arrived at this location after picking up my youngest daughter from kindergarten. Although I typically go on shoots alone, out of all my kids, she seems to tolerate the "exploring", as I like to call it, better than her siblings. The bridge was a our first stop and almost the last stop of the day. As I was photographing the bridge, she managed to get both of her feet buried in the mud along the bank of the creek. Not overly upset, just a slight "Um Dad, help!". I went over and rescued her from the mud only to realize that her sneakers were still submerged. Carefully, I dug out the shoes and proceeded to clean them off. With the shoes in "acceptable" condition we continued on our way. We just had to figure out how to tell mom why her sneakers were now mud stained.
